About Me

Hi! My name is Cathy Maziarz. I am a teacher, adventurer, and novice author.  As a student I hated school..., especially math and so now I am a teacher... who teaches math. I am an adventurer who has worn a Navy uniform, jumped out of planes in New Zealand, climbed to Everest Base Camp, and taught (yes you guessed it...) math ... on a Navajo Indian Reservation.  My adventures have now led me into a new arena... where my pen is my sword. and I battle getting my stories down on paper. 

 

I live on a farm in Virginia with my husband and my dog Chessie, where my imagination runs wild (as I do!) My family is my everything and my mission has always been to love. To bring others to love. I want my stories to inspire, motivate, educate, and spread love.  I have had the honor of being exposed to people that are either underappreciated or underrepresented. From our military men and women to the Sherpas and Nepal, from the Maori in New Zealand to the Navajo of New Mexico... I will be their voice, I will hold them in the light, and I will write their stories on your heart.
